Public Health Unit

To lead Kafr Yasif toward a healthy, aware and health-promoting community, in which every resident is given the opportunity to live a healthy, safe and high-quality life.

The Public Health Unit will work to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness of the importance of physical and mental health. In addition, the unit works to reduce health gaps, including lowering morbidity and obesity among residents in general and among children in particular. This is done by developing programs tailored to the community's needs, health education, encouraging personal and community responsibility, and strengthening cooperation between the local authority, educational institutions, health services and community organizations.

The unit will strive to create a local environment that enables and encourages health, with an emphasis on children and youth, families, senior citizens and populations in need of a tailored response.
